load times related to the forum or to the main site.
I will assume the main site (why because I can), the main site is calling many third party sites including but not limited to meebo, google, and rss2html. Why don't we do these things on server (including this forum) because Mercer Technology services lacks the resources to offer Mysql or php access. So to create a system that allows the main page to be updated with limited coding knowledge we (I) used RSS feed(s) which are theoretically simpler for internal purposes. The Chat (Meebo rooms) never fully loads because it is always checking with the meebo main servers for updates(new replies). Google Calender handles this much better(why because they are Google and they are awesome and worth tons of money). So through this new site the hope is that shows and listeners will be able to communicate more effectively to create a dynamic community.
To reiterate "mantis480" If anyone is experiencing slow load times feel free to contact or reply to this thread and improvements will be made. No worries its a BETA site.

Does this also explain the gaps? The gaps I am referring to is on the main site; when you first get to the home page it has links to click on, and if you want the meebo chat window you have to scroll all the way down the page.

I am using the new Google browser Chrome, but I also had the issue in IE. I am using a Dell laptop to view the site. I posted the questions about the gaps; wonder why my user name is now showing up. Great job on the new site by the way.

I solved it! refer to this post: http://mercerradio.mybb3.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=14the goal here is to clear the cache because the browser often does not know about the changes to the site. i don't know if we are compatible with chrome since it just came out just a few days ago.

Great Job on fixing the site issue; I can see it just fine now in Google Chrome, and let me tell you it look GREAT.
